Telemedicine Specialist
Pediatric Telemedicine in Las Vegas & Henderson, NV
Not every health concern requires an office visit. Nevada Pediatric Specialists offers secure, HIPAA-compliant telemedicine visits so your child can see one of our board-certified providers from home — no driving, no waiting room, no scheduling gymnastics. Telehealth is available for established patients with a wide range of concerns.
What Can Be Handled via Telehealth?
Telemedicine is ideal for follow-up visits, medication checks, and situations where a hands-on exam isn’t necessary. Common telehealth visit types include:
- ADHD medication management and dosage follow-ups
- Follow-up after a sick visit or ER trip
- Mild illness — rashes, colds, minor respiratory symptoms
- Behavioral and developmental concerns
- Anxiety, sleep issues, and emotional wellness check-ins
- Asthma controller medication review
- Chronic condition management
- Prescription refills for ongoing medications
- General parenting questions and anticipatory guidance
How Telehealth Works at Nevada Pediatric Specialists
Booking a telehealth visit is as easy as scheduling an in-person appointment. Call 702-457-5437 or book online, select the telehealth option, and choose a time that works for your family. Before your visit, you’ll receive a secure link to join the video call. Our provider will review your child’s history, address your concerns, and provide the same quality care you’d expect in person.
Prescriptions and referrals can be sent electronically from a telehealth visit when clinically appropriate.
Telehealth for ADHD Management
ADHD management is one of our most requested telehealth services. Once a diagnosis is established and medication is initiated in person, follow-up appointments for dose adjustments, side effect monitoring, and refill authorizations can often be handled entirely through telehealth — saving families significant time. Telehealth ADHD visits are available for patients in both Las Vegas and Henderson.
When a Visit to the Office Is Better
Telehealth works well for many concerns, but some situations call for an in-person exam. Our walk-in clinic is available Monday through Saturday for illness that needs hands-on assessment — ear infections, strep throat, and other conditions that require a physical exam or rapid testing.
Technical Requirements
All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, and a reliable internet connection. Our telehealth platform is secure and easy to use — no downloads required in most cases. We’ll send instructions with your appointment confirmation.
