Joanne Wennstrom is a highly experienced pediatric nurse practitioner with more than 30 years of pediatric experience across inpatient, outpatient, and specialized care settings. Originally from Upstate New York, Joanne spent 27 years as a registered nurse in the Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Albany Medical Center, providing family-centered care to critically ill and premature infants. She earned her Master of Science in Child Health Nursing from Stony Brook University and later obtained certifications in both Pediatric Primary Care and Pediatric Acute Care. Joanne has played a key role in establishing Cleft-Craniofacial Clinics and directing Helmet Clinics, bringing rare subspecialty expertise and evidence-based pediatric care to families in Henderson.
