What does newborn care entail at the office?

When should I bring my newborn in for an appointment?

It is important to bring your newborn in for a well-child visit very soon after birth. Your newborn’s first visit to Nevada Pediatric Specialists should happen 2-5 days after you leave the hospital. Your next visit is a screening visit about two weeks after birth. 

After these initial visits, you visit regularly as your baby grows and develops. You can also bring your baby in for sick visits, which are often available as same-day appointments. The clinic also offers telemedicine appointments and an after-hours call line for your convenience. The team helps you stay on track with your newborn’s immunization schedule during their regular visits.
